About Shefaly Ravula, PA-C
Shefaly has been a board-certified physician associate for over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1997 and from the UT Southwestern Physician Assistant Graduate Program in 1999. After working in Seattle in inpatient care and later in conventional gastroenterology in Austin, she expanded her expertise into culinary medicine and nutrition, becoming a food writer, food-as-medicine instructor, and kitchen coach. She has continued expanding her nutrition knowledge through the Institute of Functional Medicine certification process.
