I’m a passionate and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Holistic Somatic Psychotherapist with a Masters degree in Social Work-Direct Practice. I have over 19 years of experience in the mental health field counseling women and children of all ages in various settings, including schools.

I’ve always loved counseling girls, but after over a decade of witnessing their moms passing down their own issues to the next generation—and personally experiencing this with my own daughter—I moved into another passion of mine—helping moms with daughters heal their own traumas so they won’t continue to pass them down for generations to come.

However, after watching our girls continue to harm their bodies and themselves as they attempt to meet society’s unrealistic standards…after watching anxiety, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behaviors skyrocket among our teens…and after watching girls’ self-esteem plummet by age 13—while knowing I have the skills AND passion to help them, I was guided to begin counseling middle and high school girls, again. As a result, I created a safe space for girls to come together, to be seen and heard, to share and heal, to learn and grow, to connect vulnerably with other girls, and to consciously create the lives they want to live, as they move into womanhood. I created Warrior Girls Rising®.

Warrior Girls Rising® is a MOVEMENT with the mission to empower middle and high school girls to empower themselves, by helping them heal emotional wounds, while teaching them the skills needed to become confident and powerful women who thrive.
Currently, I offer private psychotherapy to moms and girls and I facilitate two programs for middle and high school girls—EMPOWER HER and Your Sacred Body—in Dripping Springs, Wimberley, and online.

I also help you Be the Woman You Want Your Daughter to Become® through helping you heal generational patterns and trauma you don’t want to pass down to your daughter. Although I’m skilled in helping clients heal a wide range of issues, I currently focus on helping girls and moms heal anxiety and trauma, while cultivating self-compassion, building self-confidence, and learning important lifelong personal development practices that help them create the lives they want.

I draw from my own personal experience in healing trauma and an eating disorder, as well as my professional training in mindfulness, Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy, movement, energy & spiritual psychology, parts work, attachment theory, Reiki, and more. My work is individualized, but I may incorporate journaling, guided meditation, nature connection, self-care practices, movement, and other somatic practices into our work together.

Deirdre S. Allen is a body-centered mindfulness-based psychotherapist, energy medicine practitioner, embodied feminine movement facilitator, budding herbalist & ecotherapist, and a lifetime devotee and steward of Mama Earth. Her lifetime of learning and experiences have helped her evolve practices that help others heal their emotional wounds in order to live to their soul’s fullest expression.

As a Certified Hakomi Therapist, Deirdre offers a potent alternative to traditional talk therapy. While she blends many therapeutic and intuitive practices, her primary modality is Hakomi, a mindfulness-based somatic approach to emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual healing. Hakomi works primarily with body awareness, in particular, the ways in which our emotions show up as physical sensations.

Deirdre guides her clients into their own body, heart, and mind to unwind stuck memories and emotions, and teaches them how to meet their present moment experience with attentive compassion. Deirdre also incorporates nature-based therapy, energy healing, embodied feminine movement, and herbalism into her work with clients by weaving in connection to the natural world.

Anxiety Specialist @ Heather Rider Coaching

Heather Rider is an anxiety specialist who personally overcame high-functioning anxiety while working in a demanding Tech job. She works with clients from all over the world who want to take a nontraditional, holistic approach to healing anxiety. Her healing method is a unique process – based on her own experience, research and the experiences of hundreds of clients – that synergizes the neuroscience of uncovering limiting beliefs, perspectives and habits with multiple non-traditional modalities of emotional healing to get to the source of her clients’ symptoms and to help them heal more quickly and more fully than with traditional methods.

She regularly writes and presents on the issues of perfectionism, high-functioning anxiety and other anxiety related topics.

Izzy is an Energetic Safety and Trauma Specialist. She specializes in healing soul wounds caused by trauma, PTSD, and addiction. She frequently works with clients who have autoimmune disorders, adrenal fatigue, and other stress-related health issues.

Using Reiki energy and the Feileacan Trauma Release Technique™, Izzy guides and mentors her clients as they begin to rediscover lost or broken pieces of their souls. By creating calm, comfortable, and restful spaces, Izzy helps people feel safe as they engage in the deeper work of healing past wounds. She considers it her sacred task to guard and protect individuals while helping them work toward becoming whole again.

Izzy has been practicing Earth-based spirituality for more than 20 years. She is a Certified Medical Reiki Master and an ordained minister attuned to the master level in Traditional Usui Reiki and Usui Holy Fire Reiki. Izzy created the Guardian Method and The Feileacan Trauma Release Technique™. She is also the founder of The Order of the Crows, a priesthood tradition honoring the Morrigan.
