I am an intuitive healer, teacher & space holder for individuals & the collective as they expand into new potentials & healing power— through grace, love, kindness & an edge lighthearted fun.
In my practice I blend science & spirituality to help garner the healing & growth every body, mind & spirit are purely capable of.
Working with me can feel like being with a gentle, dedicated & compassionate friend. Sometimes I’ll resemble a mirror so you can experience a clear reflection of your truth. I will literally travel with you to the heart of the matter & assist as you connect with whatever is necessary for you.
I’ll help you anchor amongst the waves & find your true north. I speak truthfully & simply. I strive to move at your pace.
We will invite the participation of your core self (the good, the bad & the ugly) to be seen, nourished & understood — & to help you do life & relationships on your own wild & beautiful terms.

My personal development journey began more than 25 years ago, and I’ve spent the last 15 of those in the life growth business, helping the people I serve create the lives and relationships they want. As a licensed psychotherapist, board certified life coach and innovative philanthropy leader, I spend my days having energizing conversations that generate fresh insights, new mindsets, radical shifts, and big connections. I work with a diverse client base including couples, creative entrepreneurs, executives, and artists, all of whom are inspired to build healthy, engaged lives fueled by their dreams and filled with joy, purpose, loving relationships, and rewarding careers.
I have a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and had thriving private practices in Los Angeles and Chicago prior to returning to my native Texas. I have specialized training in Relationship Counseling, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Presence-Based Coaching, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Contemplative Dance so I love integrating elements of all of those when I work with clients. Although I work with a variety of clients, I specialize in holistic coaching and counseling with gay and bisexual men, creatives struggling with perfectionism and women looking to show up more fully as leaders in their own lives.
On a personal note, I’m a native Texan (yes, Buck is my real name!), and I moved back to Austin in 2013. I love exploring all things wellness, creating as an Enneagram 4 and innovating as a Human Design Manifestor. I also love to chill on Lake Travis or on a beautiful beach every chance I get. I also love a good nap and hanging out with Goldie Hawn (my Golden Retriever).
I’m thrilled to be part of a vibrant community of like-minded health and wellness professionals and look forward to supporting each other’s work!

BA, C-IAYT, E-RYT 200, YACEP
I was introduced to yoga in the early 90s through a magazine. My life was chaotic and unpredictable, and I was drawn to the serenity I found in practicing the postures and breathing techniques. In college I enjoyed the physical release of an asana practice, but it wasn’t until I was debilitated by chronic and mystery illness that I discovered the breadth of yoga as a healing modality.
After suffering for close to 20 years, a friend invited me to a restorative yoga class. After the first class, I thought it was a waste of time and money. I kept going (to be with my friend), and amazingly, after a few weeks I began feeling better. I was curious to know why “doing nothing” was affording me some relief. Thus began my journey through teacher training.
I completed a Foundations of Yoga Therapy 200-hour training, and knew I wanted to become a yoga therapist. I graduated from the Practice School of Yoga Therapy and now have a thriving practice as a C-IAYT. I have had the privilege of both learning from and serving as an assistant for Judith Hanson Lasater in restorative yoga training. I have completed studies in Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and a Neuro-Rehabilitation Program for Chronic Illness, among many others.
I now live a life free from chronic conditions. My work with clients comes from a place of lived experience with chronic illness and recovery. I enjoy guiding clients with dysregulated nervous systems, trauma, and chronic conditions (and others, too) to befriend their bodies, connect with joy and ease, and ultimately connect with and live from their wholeness.

More on Drama Therapy
Drama therapy is the intentional use of theatrical and dramatic techniques to reach therapeutic goals.
It can take many forms depending on individual and group needs, skill and ability levels, interests, and therapeutic goals. It may include improvisation, drama games, storytelling, metaphor, enactment or role play, movement and gesture, performance, or ritual.
Drama therapists may also incorporate elements of visual art, music, poetry, or dance. Drama therapy is influenced by drama, theatre, psychology, anthropology, play, and other creative processes. Drama therapy is not psychotherapy.
