Laura Farb, L.Ac.
“As a Chinese medicine practitioner, I help people get stronger not only by treating symptoms but also by addressing the underlying causes of their ailments so they can be truly healthy again and thrive. I use acupuncture and Chinese herbs alongside clinical nutrition with whole-food based supplements to support people. I have especially loved helping people with chronic pain, anxiety, and fatigue and have successfully helped many people withdraw from opioids while treating in the Bay Area of San Francisco. With our country’s epidemic health problems, I find it more crucial than ever before to educate and share holistic health care with people seeking relief.”

Marcella Madera, MD

Medical School, University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Dr. Madera is an expert in surgical treatment of conditions of the spine including degenerative spine disease, spine tumors, and degenerative deformity. Being fellowship trained under world-renowned spine surgeons at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Madera has expertise in all spinal approaches and techniques including both open and minimally invasive surgery (MIS), endoscopic spine surgery, and regenerative/stem cell procedures for spine disease. She is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
She entered practice prepared to take care of all serious spine diseases, equipped to care for patients with back pain, leg pain, arm pain, and neck pain from any spinal condition. Yet in clinical practice, she soon felt that something was missing, as she saw many patients who could benefit from more than what conventional surgery offered. She traveled to Europe and domestically to learn cutting-edge endoscopic techniques and regenerative medicine. Additionally, she studied health and wellness including advanced energy medicine modalities, natural pain management, and holistic medicine as she deepened her own personal wellness practices.
As she grew, she focused on finding ways to make the pre- and post-surgical process easier on her patients. Austin Integrative Spine is the culmination of her training in conventional surgery, advanced, cutting-edge therapies, and a holistic, personal approach to every patient.
As an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at University of Texas Dell Medical School, Dr. Madera is a leader in the spine community. Having authored several articles and textbook chapters, Dr. Madera continues to participate in the academic community as a member of AOSpine, North American Spine Society, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and Women in Neurosurgery.

Marci loves being a therapist. Like, really. She finds her role both intellectually stimulating and artistic. She thinks a deep, authentic connection serves as a platform to boost thriving– for both her clients and herself. Due to this belief, Marci intentionally creates an atmosphere within her office of being down-to-earth and fully engaged/receptive. She has a passion for working with creative intellectuals who have full capacity to make a thriving life, yet are feeling stuck. These people intellectually know their abilities, but can’t get past the belief that they are worthy of a life that is small. Additionally, Marci also enjoys working with chronic illness and dying, helping those suffering from an isolating experience feel less alone.
She obtained her master’s degree at Southern Methodist University and is the co-founder of Evolve therapy. She and her close friend, Grace, created Evolve in order to provide a therapeutic space where the whole person is considered when healing– mind, body, and spirit.
Scott Mitchell, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic @Lifespring Chiropractic
Our mission is to show that human potential is nearly limitless and the greatest way to achieve this potential is through a fully functioning nervous system. At Lifespring Chiropractic, we focus on the art of the adjustment with the support of the science and research. We focus on reconnecting the whole body with it’s innate ability to heal.
Doctor of Chiropractic @Limitless Chiropractic
The first thing that you’ll notice when you meet Dr. Scott is a tie between his innate desire to truly connect with you on a deeper level and his thick (and what he claims to be AMAZING) Boston accent! Dr. Scott is extremely fortunate to have grown up in such a loving family that values creating a wonderfully fun and safe home. As a kid, Dr. Scott was a great student that saw the importance in his education and contributing to his community. Dr. Scott was always having friends over his house for epic sleep overs, crazy yard games, and of course tons of sports. His favorite sports growing up were soccer, gymnastics, and basketball. In fact, his love for soccer even led him to playing at both the collegiate and graduate school level.

I am currently accepting new patients with no wait list. My approach to care is collaborative, evidence-based, and rooted in the belief that mental health treatment should be both accessible and deeply personalized.
I bring a strong clinical foundation in psychiatric nursing as well as forensic nursing. As a former SANE-A (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner–Adult/Adolescent), I developed extensive experience working with survivors of trauma and providing compassionate, trauma-informed care during some of the most vulnerable moments in a person’s life. That background continues to shape my practice today. I prioritize emotional safety, empowerment, and respect in every patient interaction, recognizing the profound ways trauma can influence both mental and physical health.
My primary clinical areas of focus include trauma-related disorders and perinatal mental health. I work closely with individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum transitions, infertility, pregnancy loss, and the identity shifts that often accompany parenthood. I also treat ADHD, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and a wide range of other psychiatric conditions. My treatment plans are individualized and may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle interventions, and integrative strategies tailored to each patient’s goals and values.
Creating a welcoming and inclusive space is central to my practice. I provide LGBTQ-affirming care and strive to ensure that all individuals feel seen, respected, and supported without judgment. Mental health care should honor each person’s lived experience, culture, and identity.
