In counseling her clients, Alisa’s desire is to facilitate transformation, healing, and growth toward wholeness. Alisa is able to create a physical and emotional space that is warm, accepting, and non-judgmental for this work to occur. In living her own life, Alisa practices the same philosophies she shares with her clients. She loves animals and nature, and she enjoys trail hiking. Her dog, Booker, is an integral part of the work of Eye of the Heart!! Alisa writes a blog, and has written several poetry pieces. She creates art from broken pieces of tile, pottery, and rock – what we call “”mosaic.”” She is currently working on a lotus flower in her shower. She leads a contemplative lifestyle, with a focus on prayer/meditation, relationship, and creativity.

Amanda weaves together nearly twenty years of experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist with the yogic and shamanic traditions. She is passionate about empowering and educating others so they can navigate the world confidently. Her holistic approach addresses building connection and communication on the physical, mental, and spiritual or energetic levels.

In her practice, PachaYoga & Healing, Amanda facilitates deep, soul level healing by releasing emotional or physical trauma, grief, fear, negative patterns/habits, and blocks. She offers individually designed practices and sessions for continued support to anchor in the energetic shifts, inviting one to be an active participant throughout the healing journey and to co-create with source in everyday life.

As the owner of Leaps with Language, she provides alternative education, therapy, and consultations for children with speech-language disorders and learning differences, specializing in treating children diagnosed with brain injury and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She incorporates knowledge and practices from a variety of disciplines, as well as the healing arts.

Amanda is excited to impart the powerful medicine and tools which have been extremely effective in transforming her own life. She shares her medicine through individual sessions, consultations, customized ceremonies, workshops, speaking, and writing. Her six-year-old son and the families she sees daily are her continual teachers. She holds the vision for a holistic medical model that is inclusive of connection and spiritual healing for well-being.

Amanda earned a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southwest Texas State University following a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language from the University of Texas at Austin.

She is a registered yoga teacher at the 200 hour level and has also completed the Radiant Child Children’s Yoga training (95 hours) including Yoga for Autism, ADHD, & Differently-Abled Children.

She is Mesa Carrier in the Q’ero tradition, a Master Reiki Practitioner, and studied Energy Medicine Certification at Austin Shamanic Center.

Heather Rider was an anxiety specialist who personally overcame high-functioning anxiety while working in a demanding Tech job. She worked with clients from all over the world who wanted to take a non-traditional, holistic approach to healing anxiety.

Heather developed her own unique healing method through her own experience, research and the experiences of hundreds of her clients. She was passionate about sharing this knowledge and helping people.

She regularly wrote and presented on the issues of perfectionism, high-functioning anxiety and other anxiety related topics.

Izzy is a healer, teacher, and mentor specializing in the intersection of addiction, trauma recovery, and spiritual practice. Katie specializes in anxiety, depression and corporate burnout. While she is trained in trauma-informed Reiki, due to her background in corporate, Katie is intimately familiar with the stressors of that lifestyle. Having personally experienced burnout, Reiki and meditation saved her from it.

Reiki is something that can calm anxieties and relieve the stress of everyday life. As for emotional healing, Reiki can help with that, too. Emotions may arise as past traumas are released, but Katie will be there supporting you. Reiki is also known to help with physical pain.

I sincerely enjoy helping people achieve balance, peace and relaxation in their bodies with Massage Therapy and when needed, the added extra of energy work with Reiki. I genuinely take pride in my work.

I have enjoyed being a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 23 years, a Reiki Practitioner for 20 years with Master Level training, and an Esthetician for 6 years. I began my career in New Hampshire where I attended the New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Arts, I studied Usui Ryoho Reiki in California working in California and Northern Nevada for many years. My life path brought me to Austin where I have studied Esthetics, Usui Reiki Holy Fire and Animal Reiki.
